Altar Guild

The Altar Guild works behind the scenes to prepare for worship on Sundays and during the week.

Daughters of the King

These are our prayer warriors for the Church. Our Daughters of the King dedicate themselves to prayer and service in the Parish and wider community.

Ushers

Our Ushers provide security, direction, and overall assistance to the congregation during worship on Sundays.

Altar Party

The Altar Party assists the priest during worship. Duties range from carrying the Cross during processions, to standing at the altar and assisting the Celebrant during Holy Communion. This is an incredible ministry for adults and children (10+).

Feed the Hungry

The purpose of this ministry is to provide food for the poor and homeless in Cleburne and the surrounding area. On the third Saturday of each month we provide a free breakfast in the Parish Hall (10am - 12pm) for anyone who stops by. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with serving food or sit with guests. What a great opportunity for evangelism!

Choir

The Holy Comforter Chorale works to add beauty to our worship through singing traditional anthems, and they help to bolster our congregational singing. Our choir consists of members of the Church and student musicians from Southwestern Adventist University. Choir practice is on Wednesday evenings and is active in the Fall and Spring.

Lectors

Our Lectors participate by reading the Old and New Testament readings during Sunday worship. This is a great ministry to join if you wish to participate more fully in the liturgy but are a little hesitant to jump into the Altar Party.
